Drainage

High storage capacity

The pore structure of Liadrain/Liaflor means that it is ideally suited for drainage in ground that is subject to high water flows. It absorbs excess water and releases it again when the plants need it. At the same time, its open-pored structure means that it can store more than 76 percent of its dry weight as water. Liadrain/Liaflor can be mixed in dry grounds to increase the soil's water-absorbing capacity. At the same time, this ensures adequate aeration and prevents against waterlogging and the formation of mould. Pour in 1–2 centimetres of Liadrain as the bottom layer in the container, lay a separating non-woven fabric over the top and then fill the pot with earth.
