In the past, problems occurred during the handling of lightweight concrete, for example premature stoppages or segregation during the pumping process. Thanks to Liapor, this problem has largely been a thing of the past for several years.
The formulation and additives are everything
Liapor's ready-mixed lightweight concrete is pre-mixed in the concrete plant to meet the requirements placed on the structure and is then transported by mixer truck to the building site. Specifically chosen additives can also be used to intentionally increase the consistency and workability of the material and consequently to simplify its handling.
Special formula for ease of pumping
As of bulk density class 1.8, Liapor lightweight concrete has already been easy to pump for many years. Using further special additives, it is also possible to optimize the pumping capabilities of lightweight concrete of lower bulk densities. These substances can even be added to no-fines lightweight concretes to make them suitable for pumping.
