X-1000 system
Innovative technology
The innovative X-1000 system contributes to the particularly simple, fast and versatile application of cement-bound Liapor fills. The Liapor expanded clay and cement slurry are transported to the site separately and combined in a specially developed mixing head shortly before application. Whether for level equalization, cavity filling or construction on gradients: a leveling fill must perform many tasks. However, the demands placed on the material itself are just as varied. The filling material should be as light as possible and non-flammable while guaranteeing a high level of stability and thermal insulation.
Low logistical requirements
At the same time, an efficient transport system is essential if the fill is to be brought to the site quickly and unproblematically. The Kneißl mixing system was developed specifically in order to meet this requirement and permit the simple, fast and versatile application of cement-bound Liapor fills. Using this system, the two components – Liapor expanded clay and cement slurry – are combined in the specially developed X-1000 mixing head just before reaching the site of application. The separate delivery of the dry additive from the Liapor expanded clay production site and cement slurry from the nearest ready-mix concrete plant means that users can benefit from low logistical requirements.
Short drying times
What is more, the fact that the materials are delivered separately means that the water content necessary for good workability can be reduced to a minimum. This reduces the already short drying times even further and, in most cases, cement-bound Liapor fills can be walked on just one day after application. At a maximum of 30 cubic meters per hour, the X-1000 system also offers very impressive output volumes. In combination with the short drying times, this means that top-quality leveling fills can be applied easily and flexibly.
Reduced workload
Using the X-1000 system, the Liapor fill is supplied to the application site by hose directly from the two silo tanks and the ready mix truck. There is no longer any need for a crane, conveyor belt or materials storage area – this means that the labor requirements are low and that users can work swiftly and flexibly even when space is extremely limited, thus bringing considerable benefits when working in cramped inner-city sites. Because time-intensive handling activities and the associated high costs are eliminated and the filled areas are ready for use very quickly, Liapor fills delivered via the X-1000 system represent an extremely cost-effective solution.
