Sloping roofs

Alongside flat roofs, the systems commonly used today also make it possible to plant sloped roofs angled at between 5 and 35°. This task is accomplished using ready-made systems with a carefully chosen mix of components comprising the thermal insulation, drainage and substrate layers – including root-proof sealing membranes and drainage pipes.
Liadrain® mixtures
A mixture of approximately equal quantities of Liadrain® and topsoil is recommended for the substrate layer. However, other special high-quality mixtures using Liadrain® are also possible. In all cases, however, the drainage of the substrate layer must be guaranteed. The substrate layer benefits from the low weight of Liadrain® which ensures that the system provides adequate load-bearing capacity even when it is saturated with water.
