To manufacture our solid Liapor elements, we use a particularly high-quality clay with evenly and finely distributed organic components. These prerequisites are ideally met by the clay layers deposited in the Jurassic oceans. The Liapor clay spheres are entrained with air gaps and have a clinker-type outer shell to provide a range of physical, construction-related benefits: lightweight and yet non-deformable, offering outstanding thermal insulation and storage properties, resistant against acids and alkalis, insensitive to moisture and frost. And particularly important for ceiling constructions – Liapor insulates against and absorbs sound.
