Liapor solid roof

A safe, secure roof

The top floor of a building, in particular, is subject to stringent requirements regarding fire protection, acoustic insulation and heat storage. A Liapor solid roof benefits from the safest fire protection class (A1) and is therefore non-flammable. However, Liapor solid roofs also boast a high level of acoustic protection. They achieve high sound protection values, allowing them, for example, to insulate the building against aviation noise.

Solid structures provide protection

Despite its light weight, the Liapor solid roof fully justifies its name. Having a solid roof over your head makes your house windproof, secure against storms and protects against the influence of moisture, for example in the form of drifting snow or driving rain. There is therefore nothing to prevent you enjoying a balanced indoor climate. What is more, this is true whatever the season because Liapor solid roofs possess excellent heat storage capabilities.

Prefabrication in the concrete plant

The concrete plant produces the roof elements in accordance with the specifications of the architect, who enjoys almost unlimited design freedom. Cut-outs, for example for roof windows, dormer windows or recessed balconies, can be taken into account without difficulty during manufacture. The same applies to the roofing timbers themselves, which act as the substructure for the subsequent roof covering.

Liapor ridge support

Liapor solid roofs are quick and easy to assemble, thus reducing construction time and optimizing cost-effectiveness. The transversally mounted roof panels are held in place by the patented tensioning system. The roof elements are suspended from a prefabricated ridge support that matches the pitch of the roof and is manufactured from Liapor lightweight concrete. Loads are transferred exclusively via the ridge carrier and through the supporting walls. This prevents the occurrence of shear forces at the base (eaves) of the roof support. This has a particularly positive effect in the area of the knee walls.
