Accelerated construction work
The Liapor solid wall ensures that construction work advances rapidly and highly efficiently: both for detached homes and for apartment blocks, in which they can be used as supporting walls in accordance with DIN EN 1520. Liapor solid walls are not dependent on the use of any specific grid dimension. However the maximum total length is seven metres. Architects therefore have complete freedom during planning and design. Even curved elements, arches and special dimensions can be constructed without difficulty. Windows and doors can be installed in the wall during the manufacturing process in the concrete plant. It is also possible to include empty conduits for electrical cables or cut-outs for bathroom installations during the production of the walls. This saves time and costs on the building site.
Solid and uniform
The necessary wall thicknesses depend on the requirements concerning thermal insulation and design aspects. Liapor's solid walls are available in the thicknesses 24, 30 and 36.5 centimetres. The prefabricated Liapor solid walls are flat, true to the specified dimensions and easy to work. Thanks to these solid, homogeneous components with no mortar joins, the carcass of a detached house can be complete in just a few days.
Perfect indoor living
Liapor's natural expanded clay spheres give the wall a wide range of outstanding properties that combine to ensure a permanently healthy indoor climate. Spaces enclosed by a Liapor solid wall remain cosy and warm in the winter and pleasantly cool in the summer. Alongside its good thermal insulating properties, the Liapor solid wall also has above-average heat storage capabilities. The excellent acoustic insulating values achieved by Liapor solid walls are approximately 2 dB better than those of comparable walls with the same weight per unit area. Thanks to the low vapour diffusion resistance of ? = 5, Liapor solid walls can absorb humidity and then release it again. Unaffected by frost and damp, Liapor solid walls meet the most exacting fire protection requirements and possess fire resistance class F180.
